Hua style box transformer is an improved structure of American transformer in China, which replaces oil immersed load switches with external switches (compressed air load switches or vacuum circuit breakers). This structure is called Hua transformer. Huabian can be considered as an improved or upgraded version of Meibian.

Dry type transformer: The winding insulation of the dry-type transformer adopts integral epoxy resin technology.

Main transformer: The main step-down transformer of a substation or the main step-up transformer station of a substation.
